American Photographic Artists’ New York Chapter is proud to announce our 4th Annual Juried Photography Exhibition, curated this year by Amanda Hajjar - founder of Studio Hajjar, curator at the American Federation of Arts, and former Director of Exhibitions at Fotografiska New York.
Our annual exhibition will be held at the new Chelsea location of renowned Soho Photo Gallery, New York City’s longest-running cooperative photography gallery, founded in 1971 by New York Times photojournalists and avant-garde artists. The show opens January 27, 2026.
This weeklong, open-gallery event celebrates the vision and diversity of today’s photographers. It’s an opportunity for APA members nationwide to showcase their work to an audience of art buyers, editors, and photo professionals, as well as the wider public.
The curator will select around 75 works that will appear on the walls of Soho Photo Gallery, be featured in a printed show catalogue, and be promoted through APA’s website, social channels, and press outreach. The exhibition highlights excellence in photography across all genres and disciplines, from emerging voices to established artists.
We welcome submissions across all photographic genres and subjects — personal or commissioned work, editorial or fine art, documentary, fashion, portraiture, landscape, experimental, black & white or color. If it’s your best work, we want to see it. We just have two categories:
