Matt Hoyle is an internationally recognized commercial photographer who shoots advertising and editorial work primarily in America and South East Asia. His photography is known equally for its rich character and narrative as
well as the unique treatment he gives each shot afterwards.
Hoyle began his career as an award-winning creative in the advertising industry. But it was the freedom and storytelling nature of photography that lured him away from his post of CD and into commercial photography. He has an insider’s edge in knowing what creatives want. He intimately knows the obstacles they have to go through in order to get a great idea to be
realized. He uses this knowledge to work with creatives from conception to completion to produce something that is totally fresh and outstanding.
Hoyle is now fortunate enough to work on the other side of the table of some of the biggest agencies and publications today, including: Saatchi&Saatchi, ArnoldWorldwide and Publicis as well as magazines such as New York Magazine, Rolling Stone magazine, ESPN Magazine.
Because of Matt’s unique style and dedication to creating outstanding work, he has been recognised by some of the photographic industry’s most respected awards. While Matt’s commercial work keeps him busy, he makes sure he finds time to create personal projects that he exhibits internationally. Matt has exhibited in galleries worldwide including the Farmani Gallery in Los Angeles, the Thomas Werner Gallery in New York, the National Portrait Gallery in London, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Australia.
